6 Reasons Y.I. Admire Donald Trump

I love Donald Trump.

No, not like I love my husband, my kids, or my coffee, but I really do like him.
Most people don't seem to, and I'm not sure if it's because he has so much money, because he lost so much money, or because his hair is really, well, Donald.

Personally, I don't care about his money or his hair.

I learned a long time ago that life is too short to live it for others. I also learned that we were given one life to live and it's our right to do with it as we please. Donald inspires people to look ahead, forgive yourself, learn from mistakes and keep moving forward no matter what, because that's how you win.

Here are 6 Reasons Y.I. Admire Donald:
  1. He has the ability to admit defeat
  2. He has the humility to share his lessons learned
  3. He has the tenacity to get what he wants (hey, you only live once)
  4. He uses a no no nonsense/common sense approach to business and life
  5. He seems to abide by an: 'I'm not here to please the world' attitude when living life (hence the hair still)
  6. He always has the courage to move on after disaster and mistakes

Getting What You Want

Dear Santa, I've been a good kitty and would like....

Cats seem to go on the principle that
it never does any harm to ask for what you want.

Fall is A Sign

I believe that when things fall into place it's a sign.

But I also believe it's a sign when things don't.

Many times in my life I've experienced moments where I should've been less stubborn and pushed less.

There's times in life where we should, and can, push hard towards a goal...and other times when we need to back off and give it a rest.

We won't always know when that is, but a good indication is when you have tried more than two or three ways to solve a problem, or achieve a goal. That is generally a good time to step back and walk away...not forever, just for a while.

Another sign is if no matter what you find yourself in constant distress and repeated road blocks. It may be a sign that this isn't going to happen, or shouldn't happen.

And you know if you push it...it can sometimes turn out badly.

Remember the old saying, 'Good things come to those who wait'...

Don't worry, you aren't giving up on your goals and dreams...

You're just having patience for it!
